Research
In the CVD, partners collaborate in various ways on knowledge development in the fields of security and digitalization. Practorates (vocational education) and professorships (higher education) conduct short-term research projects, addressing practical themes with the involvement of students and teacher-researchers.
There are several project clusters and communities in development. We mention here:
Twenty mentors supporting six PhDs working on the three CVD themes, funded by the Province of Gelderland, in a developing community led by Anna Sperotto and Bruno Verweijen.
The national CLIC-it project consortium funded by NWO, led by Maaike Endedijk, in which CVD participates. For more information, visit: https://tinyurl.com/cvdlearnin...
The national SPRONG program Expert Network Cyber Resilience NL, funded by NWO-SIA, in which Remco Spithoven and his team form the focus for East Netherlands.
The recently awarded NWO project consortium led by Martin Benning and Jaap Knotter: Criminal InvestigationDX - Advanced diagnostics for criminal investigations based on innovative micro/nano technology. For more information, visit: https://tinyurl.com/cvdproject

Traineeships
Students have the opportunity to participate in challenging traineeships, working on current strategic issues. Consortia are formed in collaboration with industry partners, bringing together researchers from the entire knowledge chain to address issues related to cybersecurity, information-driven work, or critical data and infrastructure. These coalitions are also involved in the development of LLO programs and the establishment of joint high-quality research laboratories.
